WHAT TIME ARE THE CHECK IN AND OUT?

Check in is from 11:30 AM, check out is before 11 AM.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK IN BEFORE 11:30 AM?

You can check in, but we cannot guarantee that your room will be ready by that time. However, you can always leave your luggage at the reception and go explore the city!

DO YOU HAVE A HAIRDRYER?

We always have a hairdryer for you. Some rooms have a hairdryer in the room, and some don’t. But if you don’t have one in the room, you only need to ask for it at the reception!

IS THERE PARKING?

Parking possibilities are available for all guests. Private or public parking varies per location. Please contact the desired location to get more info!

DO YOU HAVE BABY COTS?

Will provide cots to your baby if she/he is above 18 years .

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORT NEARBY?

There’s a bus, auto or tram line located right outside society gate. For detailed public transportation directions to and from our space, please contact at our reception directly.

WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express), debit cards, digital payments and cash (if do not use above ); . We do NOT accept PayPal.

IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN STORE MY BIKE?

You can park your bike inside the society premises , if parking spaces are available by taking due permission from the security guard. Your own private bikes cannot be parked on the premises of The Urban Nomads, but there are bike parking spaces nearby.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

No, we do not allow any pets. CAN I STAY IF I’M UNDER 18?

IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

No, but if you want to have breakfast or any kind of meal, you can bring grocery and can ask our cook(pay him some remuneration) to make food or you can cook it yourself

DO YOU PROVIDE LAUNDRY SERVICE IN THE HOTEL?

The property is equipped with washing machine along with dryers and ironing boards which you can use at all times.

IS THERE BED LINEN AND TOWELS IN MY HOTEL ROOM?

Of course!

DO YOU HAVE TWIN ROOMS?

Yes

CAN WE HAVE AN EXTRA BED OR A BABY COT?

Extra beds we do not provide. We do not provide baby Cot as well.

CAN I CHANGE MY ROOM DURING MY STAY?

If for some reason you need to change your room, please contact the reception, they will see if this is possible.

Can I bring my own furniture and appliances?

Yes, you can. Just be aware that Urban Nomads furniture is attached to floor and wall, so it cannot be moved. Also note that you’re not allowed to make holes in the wall. Whatever furniture you bring first you have to take permission of property manager, if he/she allows then only you can bring in your furniture otherwise you cannot.

Your own furniture needs to be removed when checking out.

Appliances (such as your own washing machines, dryers, heaters or fridges) are not allowed!

WHAT IS THE KITCHEN EQUIPPED WITH?

The kitchen has a freezer, a fridge, a microwave and a stove. Pans, pots, plates, cutlery etc.

 

I COULD NOT FIND A CERTAIN ROOM TYPE ON YOUR WEBSITE. DO YOU STILL HAVE IT AVAILABLE?

All available room types for the dates you’ve selected are on our website. If you can’t find the room type you were looking for on our website, that means that it’s currently sold out.

BOOKING AND AVAILABILITY

CAN I MODIFY THE DATE OF MY RESERVATION?

This depends on the type of booking you’ve made.

If you made your reservation through our website or other OTA channels, you can request a modification for a refundable reservation only by sending us an email or by giving us a call. Non-refundable reservations cannot be modified. If you made your reservation through another booking agent (such as booking.com, Expedia etc.), please contact them directly to request a modification.

PAYMENTSI DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD, CAN I STILL BOOK A ROOM?

We request a valid CC in order to guarantee your booking. If you want to book short stay, a payment by credit, debit cards , digital payments and cash is required. We need to receive the payment 7 days before arrival for a hotel stay (this is, if you will stay up to 13 nights), or 14 days for a short stay (this is, if you stay longer than 13 nights). Sometimes we accept bank transfer, but it’s an exception.

CAN I BOOK WITH A GROUP?

Heck, yeah! We love groups but group size should not be more than 4.

 

CAN I HAVE A LATE CHECK OUT?

You can request a late check out at the reception on the day of the check out. Please note that it costs Rs100/hr

CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING FREE OF CHARGE?

It depends on your rate and booking type. For Hotel stays for a refundable rate, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before check in. If you have a non-refundable rate, you cannot get a free of charge cancellation.

SHORT STAY GUESTS

I WANT TO STAY IN YOUR HOTEL FOR A FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS. IS IT POSSIBLE?

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

It depends on your rate and booking type. For a refundable Short Stay rate, a 14 day cancellation period applies. If you have a non- refundable rate, you cannot get a free of charge cancellation. Check the rate description on the website or booking confirmation.

HOW MANY PEOPLE DO I SHARE A KITCHEN WITH?

You will share the kitchen with 15 – 18 other guests. Each shared] kitchen has designated, individual shelf space for each member in the cupboards, the refrigerator and the freezer. Your communal kitchen is shared with all residents.

IS CLEANING INCLUDED?

Your room will get cleaned everyday and a linen will get change on every alternate day. Your shared kitchen gets regular surface cleaning. And all common areas are cleaned daily! All common areas, including the communal kitchens, are cleaned daily. Extra room cleaning is provided as an additional service. Options include weekly cleaning and linen change bookable on the online platform. The price for these services depends on room type and location.

CAN I RECEIVE MAIL AND PACKAGES?

All mail and packages will be delivered to the reception. Each morning, we sort and distribute your mail.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO MAKE MY PAYMENT?

When you book a room, you need to pay for the duration you are going to stay with us.

CAN TWO PEOPLE STAY IN A ROOM?

It is possible to book a twin room. These rooms are set up for double occupancy. When you book a twin room, you will share the room with someone else who also booked a twin room.

CAN OTHER PERSON STAY IN MY ROOM?

No

 

HOW ARE TWIN ROOM MATES MATCHED?

We match room mates to a twin room on the following criteria; gender, age, and length of stay. You can inform us if you want to stay with your friend, this is only possible when they also booked a twin room for the same length of stay. We cannot guarantee that your preferences can be honoured.

CAN I SHARE A TWIN ROOM WITH MY FRIEND?

Yes you can, as long as you both book the same room for the same length of stay. You both need to send an email to info@urbannomads.co.in and inform us who you want to stay with. We cannot guarantee your preferences can be honoured.

HOW DO I GET TO KNOW WHO I WILL BE SHARING MY TWIN ROOM WITH?

On the day of check in you will get to know your room mate. We do not share any information about your room mate prior to your arrival.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO VIEW A ROOM BEFORE I BOOK IT?

Yes, you can come by for a tour. We’ll be happy to show you around the facilities and rooms. Timing is 1:00pm-1:30pm.

 

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR USING THE SHARED KITCHEN?

Please respect others in your kitchen! No loud noise/parties are allowed after 23.00 hours on Monday to Thursday or after 01.00 hours on Friday and Saturday (as stated in the House rules). Also, please clean everything immediately after cooking. Those sharing the kitchen are responsible for keeping it clean!

 

DO I HAVE TO PAY SECURITY DEPOSIT?

No we do not charge any kind of security deposit, settlement fee or brokerage. But that does not mean you have liberty to misuse any kind of goods,  furniture, materialistic items etc or misbehave with fellow co-livers and co-workers. If we find any kind of misconduct then you will get blacklisted and thrown out from the premises as soon as possible.

MEETING ROOMS

WHAT KIND OF CATERING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER IN THE MEETING ROOMS?

We would never dream of making you get down to business on an empty stomach! We offer a light range of catering package and in case of special need and remunerations full hearty and healthy meals,. So just let us know what your food and beverage needs are ahead of time and we’ll customize our package to make sure your fully stocked and ready to work.

 

WHAT KIND OF AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE MEETING ROOM?

Every meeting room is fully-equipped with beamer/ 41” LED screen, flip chart, notepads, pens, brainstorm kit & superfast and free WIFI. All you have to do is show up with a great idea. We’ll provide the tools to make it happen.

HOW MANY PEOPLE FIT IN A MEETING ROOM?

That means sizes vary accordingly. Please contact the location directly for more specific details about the spaces, including how many seats are available and what kind of set-ups can be arranged.

We do two spaces where events and workshops can be organised and occupancy level can go up from 20 -30 people.
